As far as most people know, the Veterinary Nurse is simply a vet’s assistant. However, while part of our job is to assist vets, we are a profession in our own right with a skill set that is very different from that of a vet.
Here at St Neots Pet Care, I offer services that go beyond simply walking your dog or making sure your cat or small pet is fed and looked after while you’re away. I am a qualified, registered Veterinary nurse and can help with simple things like keeping your pet’s nails trimmed and their anal glands comfy. In addition, there are also many other services I can provide. Services such as glucose monitoring for diabetic pets, blood pressure checks for elderly cats, nursing care plans for newly diagnosed epileptic/diabetic/heart or lung patients. I am also able to offer lots of advice and practical tips regarding nutrition, weight and dental care.
